All this talk about people and their new Z's...just wanted to know why you bought your First Z32. If you have more than one or have owned several, then also, why? What made you keep coming back to them? For me, it was 1993, Stan Olsen Nissan, Omaha, NE. My parents were looking at the 1993 Nissan Quest (first year of them and man they were a POS) but my dad was looking at the Z's in the showroom as well (the 1994 TTZ that he bought that night which I would later own). It was red. It was a Twin Turbo Z. I loved the look of them and how it felt, how it sat, and even how it smelled (is that wrong?). Anyway, my dad ended up buying both the 93 Quest and the 94 TTZ the same night...I'm sure making the salesman very happy.
Anyway, from there on out I was in Love with the Z car. I'm only 23 now, so I wasn't around like many of you were for the early generation Z's... I like them, but I can't fit in them (240/260/280) because I'm 6 ft 7in tall. I bought it from my dad in 1998, but didn't drive it much because I couldn't afford insurance on it (it was something like $400 a month) so I ended up selling it and buying a 90 N/A and put nitrous on it) Then I was "better off" and sold it to buy a 90TT, later a 2004 350z, then a 93 TT parts car and my current 91TTZ which I will be keeping for a LOOOONG time (see: Forever). I love the fact that you can drive down the road and it will snap peoples necks to see "what is that?" since the Z32 isn't something you see everyday, unlike the 350z, which has had more cars made in 2003-2005 than were produced in 90-96....the 350z even outsells the C5 corvettes of the same year, and the current C6 one. But, I guess it's just a love that I'll always have for these cars. how about you?
